Tim W. English is a Santa Clara University School of Law graduate and a worker's compensation attorneys serving all of Northern California. Tim handles all aspects of worker's compensation cases including partially or fully denied claims, UR/IMR disputes, QME selection litigation, SIBTF applications, and 132a/Serious and Willful violations. His goal is to walk you step by step through a confusing and contentious process to achieve the best results possible.
Besides worker's compensation, Tim has experience in multiple facets of the law, including representing individuals and companies on matters ranging from business and employment disputes, sponsorship negotiations, contract drafting, mediation, equity offerings, venture capital transactions, and litigation. Tim also helps individuals with wage disputes against their employers at the San Jose, Oakland, Stockton, and Salinas Labor Commissioner's offices. Tim also holds certificates in Employment Law and High Tech law from Santa Clara University School of Law.
A native of San Jose, CA in Santa Clara County, Tim actively volunteers with the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center (a Santa Clara County community law center focused on providing free or low cost representation to immigrants, employees, and consumers) and the San Francisco chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Tim is also an active member of the California Applicants' Attorneys Association, currently serving as a Member of the Membership Committee and the Santa Clara County CAAA Chapter Treasurer.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, hiking, playing tennis, disc golfing and wine tasting.
